Germany

Germany is a country located in Central Europe. It is bordered by nine countries: Denmark to the north, Poland and the Czech Republic to the east, Austria and Switzerland to the south, and France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands to the west. Germany is known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and significant contributions to art, philosophy, music, and science. It has a population of approximately 83 million people and is one of the most populous countries in Europe. The capital city is Berlin, which is also the country’s largest city.

Germany operates as a federal parliamentary republic, comprising 16 federal states (Bundesländer). The country has a strong economy, being one of the world’s leading industrial nations and exporters. Germany is a founding member of the European Union (EU) and plays a significant role in European and global affairs.
