Astrology

Astrology is a belief system that suggests a relationship between the positions and movements of celestial bodies—such as stars, planets, the Sun, and the Moon—and events or characteristics in human life. Practitioners of astrology, known as astrologers, interpret the influence of these celestial positions on individual personalities and future events, often through the creation of horoscopes based on a person’s birth date, time, and location. Astrology encompasses various traditions and practices, including natal astrology (the study of individual birth charts), mundane astrology (focused on world events), and electional astrology (choosing auspicious times for actions). While astrology has roots in ancient cultures and is often associated with mystical or spiritual beliefs, it is not considered a science by the scientific community, as its claims are not supported by empirical evidence. Nonetheless, astrology remains popular and is often used for guidance, personal insight, and entertainment.
